CWC: Ritz Chicken

(Photo from Passionate Penny Pincher)

I was going through one the many blogs that I follow and came acros this receipe from Passionate Penny Pincher. It is a really simple receipe that involves Ritz Crackers!

Now I put this on Cooking w/Coupons because if you have been coupon clipping the last few weeks, you should have a coupon for Nabisco Products, which I do, plus you can also get a coupon for Ritz Crackers using your points from MyCokeRewards.com (if you don't have an account, get one!). This is a really simple receipe and it looks delicious. Only 5 ingredients, I have everything but the Ritz, which I plan on getting really soon.

Want this recepie? Here you go Ritz Chicken Recepie

If any of you make this before I do, please share your picture, I would love to hear your comments.

31 Days of Halloween: Look for Free Halloween Events (Day 16)

Since Halloween has become such a big "Holiday" these days, you might find alot of fun and free things to do in your town if you take the time to look & listen. For instance, our local library will be having a Halloween Costume Contest tomorrow night. I have said it before, the library is one of the best ways to save money and have fun for free. They also have free arts and crafts, you can have your kids to a fun and free Halloween craft, this is what my daughters did last year

I know I have put this picture up before, but it's so cute, I have to share it again, plus, I still have these, they are hanging around the house. They had so much fun doing this craft.

Also, listening to the radio can be a plus. The radio stations are constantly giving away free tickets to Halloween events in the area. The radio station I listen to is doing this right now. Our neighboring towns are having alot of events and are giving the radio station tickets to them. So listen to your local station they will tell you what you need to do to win them.

Check out your local restaurants, they also have fun and free events for Halloween, check their website. If you have a Peter Piper Pizza in your area, they also have free events, you can even go on Halloween night and they have free candy and activities.

Check your local shopping mall. Our local mall has trick-or-treating in certain stores. Head over to the customer service center and ask when they will be doing it and a list of participating stores.

There are alot of fun and free things to do for Halloween! Take the time to check out what your town does and go and have fun!

Family Dollar: All Laundry Detergent

Family Dollar Store are having amazing sales this week. I went shopping for a few things on Saturday. Right now they have the All Laundry Detergent for $3.48, that is $.02 cheaper than Dollar General! I bought two to stock up. I used my "Save $1.00 on any All Detergent" and "Save $.75 on Any All Detergent". Then they have the Cokes on sale for $1.00. (use their coupon in their AD). The cokes are regularly $1.45, they had them on sale for $1.25 and then use their AD Coupon and Save $.25 which makes the Cokes $1.00. I bought two Cokes and used the two coupons from two sales ads.

Check out their AD for more savings. I will try to coupon match the sales for you and post them later.

Check out their Coupon Policy, it looks like you can use your Manufacturer Coupons and their Coupons together in the same transaction. I have not tried it, but I am definetly going to. I will post later if both coupons can be accepted at the same time. I will also try to post my receipt from Saturdays shopping trip so you can see the savings.
